 Deaths Head Hawkmoth (Acherontia atopos) & Mink Skull Display

Our little 'skull faced friend, best known for its feature in Silence of the Lambs. Perched atop a processed Mink Skull, in an open mouthed position.

Our foundation is built on a river stone, with dry preserved florals and Reindeer Lichen.

This is the medium size of our custom made glass domes.

All specimens are NON C.I.T.E.S Species, bred solely in Italy by my Conservation parter and friend. 

Mink are dark-colored, semiaquatic, carnivorous mammals of the genera Neogale and Mustela and part of the family Mustelidae, which also includes weasels, otters, and ferrets. There are two extant species referred to as "mink": the American mink and the European mink. The extinct sea mink is related to the American mink but was much larger.
